Over the years she has worked in such capacities as In-Salon Coach, Creative Director for Paris Parker Salons & Spas/Neill Corporation, Global Aveda Educator ("Purefessional"), Creative Director for Avant Salons/Spas, Artist, and Education & Creative consultant.  From local print to international print, local recognition to NAHA (North American Hair Dresser Awards) nominee; Jami simply does what she does in the hope of bettering herself and supporting others in craft and creativity.

Today, Jami spends most of her time working with and supporting her Avant Salon Home Team by Creating an environment for Professional growth, Career Opportunity, and Artistic and Personal Evolution.  Inspiring other to fall in love with their individuality, gifts, and talents through art, career, and relationship drives her passion and determination.

"A friend once called me an "industry anomaly" because I could be creating Hair Art on minute and Excel sheets the next.  I truly believe an artist has the ability to change and influence lives, cultures, and societies.  Artists are the individuals who connect idea to action.  They give life to the unspoken thoughts, beliefs, views, and emotions of the world around them.  From stylists, to graphic designers, to musicians, and entrepreneurs.... creatives are the people I love and support.  I do what I do to show respect to those I respect the most."
